Helping his parents led to a decision to pursue funeral service as a career. After graduating from the Dallas Institute of Mortuary Science in 1982, he returned to Windsor to begin sharing management responsibilities with his father, Bob. In 1998, Bruce and his wife, Sheila, purchased the funeral home from his parents and became the owners. Bruce is licensed by the State of Missouri as a Funeral Director and an Embalmer.

She became an owner with her husband Bruce in 1998. She is involved in many aspects of the funeral home but her primary responsibilities involve the creative design of keepsakes and photo tributes and taking care of their three children, Lauren, Erin, and Robb. Sheila is licensed by the State of Missouri as a Funeral Director.

He brings to Hadley Funeral Home 20 years of experience in funeral service, working at funeral homes in the St. Joseph and Clinton areas. He is community minded and enjoys spending time with family and coaching youth sports. Steve is licensed by the State of Missouri as a Funeral Director and an Embalmer.
