DEATH CERTIFICATES

Before the business and legal issues of the estate can be pursued, it will be necessary to obtain certified copies of the death certificate. You can order them from the through our funeral home or directly from the Registrar of Vital Statistics. Most agencies will only accept certified death certificates and not photocopies. However, ask each entity what they require in the event they might accept a photocopy.

Currently, the State of Missouri charges $13 for the first certified copy and $10 for additional certified copies each time you order certified copies of the death certificate.
