Newspapers remain an important way that people learn about a person's death. Obituaries vary in price and each newspaper has unique requirements for submission. Following is a list of local newspapers.

CARDS OF THANKS
This is an insertion in the paper where you thank people that helped you during your time of need. Typically people thank their Doctors, Nurses, Hospice workers and friends.
OBITUARIES This details the personal data, background, funeral details as well as the survivors of the deceased.
IN MEMORIAMS This generally states the deceased's name and the date of passing. It is not uncommon for survivors to include a short poem that fits the occassion.
DEATH NOTICE
The death notice gives detail about where the person passed on, who survives and the location and date of the funeral.
DEADLINES
Windsor Review: Monday by 12:00 noon for that weeks paper (the Review is only published on Thursday of each week.)
Sedalia Democrat: For publication the next day, by 2:00p.m.
Clinton Daily Democrat: Monday - Friday by 10:00 a.m. for the next day's paper (The Democrat is only published Monday through Friday.)
